Berman McAleer’s Principal Susan Mitcheltree Named To Board Of Directors For The Modell Lyric

The Modell Lyric Foundation announced today that Susan Mitcheltree has been named to its Board of Trustees. Mitcheltree is a Principal and Equity Partner at Berman McAleer, an independent financial planning and wealth management firm.

In her position, Mitcheltree will be working with the board of the Modell Lyric, as this theatre is a community leader in supporting the performing arts and educational opportunities in Baltimore.

“The Modell Lyric is a Baltimore treasure and I’m excited to work with the team,” said Susan Mitcheltree. “This theatre is special. It’s beautiful, has fantastic acoustics and it offers a diversity of programming that you’re not going to find elsewhere in our city. It’s really a gem of Baltimore.”

One of the largest providers of arts education and community engagement in Maryland, the Modell Lyric serves over 35,000 people. The theatre also creates important community building experiences by providing educational and outreach programs.

“We are thrilled to welcome Susan to the board,” said Cleaveland Miller, Board Chair of the Modell Lyric. “Her strong background in the finance industry and deep appreciation for the arts will be great assets to our team.”

This new role reflects Mitcheltree’s commitment to her community. She headed the Executive Task Force as the 2016 Chair of the Financial Planning Association of Maryland. She is also a member of the Baltimore Estate Planning Council and an alumnus of Penn State University.
