Jacoby Jones Comes Back to Baltimore to Retire as a Raven

A key piece of the Ravens’ 2013 Super Bowl squad returned to Baltimore today to officially end his career as a member of the flock.

Jacoby Jones joined general manager Ozzie Newsome and head coach John Harbaugh onstage for a retirement ceremony at the Under Armour Performance Center training facility in Tide Point. Harbaugh and Newsome talked through their favorite memories of working with the former wide receiver and return specialist who spent three pivotal years of his nine-year NFL career in Baltimore.

Harbaugh recounted one of Jones’ signature full-field kickoff return touchdowns from a 2013 game against the Minnesota Vikings. Newsome sang his praises from his performance in Super Bowl XLVII, where he scored two touchdowns, including a record-setting 108-yard kickoff return.
