As soon as the Orioles were eliminated from postseason consideration, manager Buck Showalter began writing catcher Chance Sisco's name into the lineup.
Sisco, who has started the past three games, was 1-for-3 with an RBI double during the Orioles' 5-3 loss to the Pittsburgh Pirates Sept. 27.
Sisco is 5-for-15 (.333) with two home runs and four RBIs in nine games. He hit .267 in 97 games for Triple-A Norfolk this season.
