Former Ravens Safety James Ihedigbo Wants Open Dialogue About NFL Protests

Former Ravens safety James Ihedigbo said he believes in an open discussion about the protesting of the national anthem in the NFL and said it's fine to cheer on your team despite how you feel about the issue.

Ihedigbo, who played with the Ravens from 2012-2013, offered to buy season tickets from a Ravens fan on Twitter who was upset about the protesting. He plans to give them away to a deserving supporter, but wants fans to be more understanding of the topic and just enjoy football.

"That's a dialogue that needs to take place, not so much the mentality of, 'You're wrong, I'm right, I'm taking my ball and going home,'" Ihedigbo said during an interview on Glenn Clark Radio Sept. 25. "Fans that want to be at the game will be at the game."
