The launch of a new website is the first step in a planned series of activities celebrating the 70th anniversary of one of Baltimore’s oldest law firms – and one of the top firms in the country representing management in employment and labor law matters – Shawe Rosenthal LLP.
Founded in 1947 when the late Earle K. Shawe left the National Labor Relations Board to go into private practice, Shawe Rosenthal has earned a national reputation as management’s workplace lawyers.
But while its practice has grown nationally, Shawe Rosenthal has continued to operate out of a single office in Baltimore’s Inner Harbor “in order to remain cohesive, selective, and collegial,” according to Co-Managing Partner Stephen D. Shawe.
Shawe Rosenthal’s new website, which officially launches today, reflects the firm’s emphasis on providing effective advocacy and responsive service to a client base that ranges from Fortune 100 companies to smaller businesses and non-profits.
Designed by Channel Communications, the site features: a dynamic homepage, including bold, rotating slider images; fully re-organized site structure to enhance user navigation and experience; a “Noteworthy” section that highlights current firm happenings; a re-designed attorney’s page; and a News & Events “carousel” showcasing important firm news.
The firm also plans to celebrate its 70th anniversary with a social media campaign showcasing Shawe Rosenthal’s impressive history. The campaign will feature historic photos accompanying the firm’s many “firsts,” such as its recognition as one of the first labor law and employment firms in the U.S., its handling of the first unfair labor suit brought against a union, and its first EEOC attorneys.
Shawe Rosenthal’s 70th anniversary celebration will culminate On October 26-27 with a reception and dinner in Annapolis, and the firm’s 2017 Labor and Employment Law Conference.
