Gillis Gilkerson Completes Construction of New Provident State Bank in Easton, Maryland

9/18/17

Gillis Gilkerson, one of the most stable and trusted construction management and general contracting firms on Delmarva, announced it has completed construction of the new Provident State Bank at 142 North Harrison Street in Easton, Maryland.

“It is lovely. Gillis Gilkerson did a fabulous job,” said Melissa Quirk, president and COO of Provident State Bank. “They run a good project by documenting and following up on everything. They helped us make our vision of a futuristic branch come to reality.”

“We have a branch on Elliott Road in Easton but many of our customers were requesting a second location on the other side of Rt. 50,” added Quirk. “This time we were looking for a new way of banking for our community. A personal touch with the technology they want.”

The design of the new bank included an open layout with a teller pod with a universal banker to greet people as they enter the lobby. Construction of the new bank included glass enclosed offices, a seating area, convenience bar with free standing furniture and large community conference room equipped with the latest technology for video conferences and webinars.
