Maryland Chapter Elects New Officers and Directors

The Association for Corporate Growth – Maryland Chapter, the premier network for middle market dealmakers, announced the election of their new Chapter President, James Hayden. Mr. Hayden, CPA, of BDO USA, LLP has more than 25 years of public and private accounting experience, including audit and advisory services. He has been an active member of ACG-MD for five years. He has served several years as the Chapter's Treasurer and has served as Co-Chair of the Deal Forum Committee.

Mr. Hayden shared, "ACG's mission is to drive middle market growth and with that in mind, we will strive to develop and enhance the relationships within Maryland's dealmaking community. Over the past year we've grown to a record number of members. I'm looking forward to providing the right environment for the success of our current members and helping the newest members integrate into our association. We've just held our kick-off event for the year with nearly 80 registrants and our Young Professionals University is underway with 20 candidates participating. In October, we are holding our first breakfast event with speaker, Mary Ann Scully, President and CEO of Howard Bank. Our programming committee works hard to continue relevant programming for our members and guests and we hope that everyone will come out and take advantage of these opportunities to learn and network."

The following officers were also elected to the chapter's 2016-2017 Board: Gregory Hogan, SCH&H Group, LLP as President Elect; Mike Creasy, Grant Thornton, First Vice President; Joseph P. Ward, Miles and Stockbridge as Treasurer; and Timothy Bryan, Duane Morris as Secretary.
