Baltimore Mayor to unveil new opportunities for local business growth through City’s plans for streamlined procurement and permitting; industry leaders convene to honor members for advocacy and commitment to economic and workforce development
The Baltimore City Chamber of Commerce (The Chamber) today announced that Baltimore Mayor, the Honorable Catherine E. Pugh, will deliver the keynote address at the annual “Breakfast with the Mayor” presented by MECU of Baltimore, being held at the Horseshoe Casino Baltimore on Thursday, October 5, 2017. Mayor Pugh will discuss the current business climate, and detail how forthcoming changes to the City’s permitting and procurement processes will create myriad new opportunities for businesses across Baltimore. In addition, Mayor Pugh will also speak to ongoing job creation and workforce development efforts, and the success of the Youth Works program.
