Shortly before the entire higher ed, edtech community flocks to Philadelphia for EDUCAUSE, nearby Towson University is hosting an EdTech Innovation Showcase event that you don’t want to miss. The event is described for administrators, educators, investors and innovators at all levels of education K-20.
Towson has quickly become known as an edtech innovation hub. Their TU Incubator welcomes education technology companies across K-20. Some of those incubator companies as well as edtech startups from across the mid-atlantic region will show off their products during the showcase. Last spring Towson University announced that the TU incubator was home to 20 edtech companies, making it Maryland’s largest cluster of educational technology companies. But the Innovation Showcase isn’t just about Maryland companies, CampusESP for instance, hails from Philadelphia.
