The Daily Record Announces 2017 Most Admired CEOs

9/8/17

The Daily Record has announced its list of 2017 Most Admired CEOs, honoring talented Maryland business CEOs and nonprofit executive directors for their leadership and professionalism.

“To be a Most Admired CEO means that you have gained the respect and admiration of those around you. It means you are making a positive impact on the lives of others,” said Suzanne Fischer-Huettner, publisher of The Daily Record. “Our honorees this year were nominated by co-workers, community organizations and other leaders, not just for their professional achievements but because they are truly admired by their peers and employees. The Daily Record is pleased to recognize their leadership in our state and beyond.”

A panel of business and legal professionals as well as a representative from The Daily Record chose the honorees, based on their leadership and vision; competitiveness and innovation; community leadership and service; financial performance and growth; corporate leadership and board service; and nonprofit involvement.

In 2017, three honorees will be inducted into the Circle of Leadership for receiving recognition three times.

This year’s honorees will be celebrated at a reception Thursday, Nov. 9, at the BWI Hilton.

The Daily Record began recognizing the area’s most respected CEOs in 2012.
