LAC Federal Awarded GSA 8(a) STARS II Government-wide Acquisition Contract

LAC Federal, a leading provider of library, information, and knowledge management services for the U.S. government, has been awarded an 8(a) STARS II Government-wide Acquisition Contract (GWAC) through SBA certified Mentor-Protégé joint venture Select Federal Services, with protégé MCH Corporation.

The 8(a) STARS II contract vehicle, allows government agencies to access customized IT services from its 8(a) service providers through 2024. The contract has a five-year base with one five-year option, and a $10 billion program ceiling. The contract also provides the ability for directed task orders up to $4 million.

Select Federal Services brings government agencies a wide range of IT services including cyber security support; digital asset management system support; computer application development; systems analysis and software design; web design and maintenance services; digital archiving system support services; and integrated library systems management. LAC Federal and MCH Corp are also participants in the 8(a) Business Development Mentor-Protégé Program. As a mentor, LAC Federal brings government agencies the experience and pricing expected from a large organization and MCH Corp, as a protégé, delivers the personalized attention characterized by small businesses.
