9/7/17

Petrie Richardson Ventures (PRV), the owner-developer of the 140-acre, 700,000-square-foot mixed-use development Woodmore Towne Centre, announced today the grand opening of Nordstrom Rack. The new 30,000-square-foot store is the first in Prince George’s County.

The grand opening celebration will kick off at 8 a.m. with music, coffee and breakfast treats. Customers can enter for a chance to win one of 30 $100 gift cards and one lucky customer will win a $1,000 shopping spree and early access to shop the store. Doors will open at 9 a.m.

“Woodmore Towne Centre —and the greater region— has been eagerly awaiting the opening of Nordstrom Rack,” said Terry Richardson, president of PRV. “Nordstrom Rack offers a unique level of quality and variety to shoppers, as well as convenient access to a wide array of brands and products. Their presence at Woodmore Towne Centre will ensure that all of our visitors are provided a well-rounded and diverse shopping experience.”

“I want to sincerely thank the County Executive, Rushern Baker, and Councilmember Andrea Harrison, whose long-time support and assistance has been critically vital in bringing this project to fruition,” said Walter H. Petrie, chairman of PRV.

In recent weeks, 1000 Degree Pizza, Kobe Japanese and Kicks USA have opened in Woodmore Towne Centre.

Opened in 2010, Woodmore Towne Centre is anchored by Wegmans, Costco, JC Penney, Best Buy and Petco.
