Heather Uttenreither Promoted to Director of Continuing Care at Oak Crest

Oak Crest, the Erickson Living retirement community, announced the promotion of Heather Uttenreither to the position of Director of Continuing Care.

Since March, Mrs. Uttenreither has served as the Assistant Administrator of Continuing Care at Charlestown, the sister Erickson Living retirement community located in Catonsville, Maryland.  She brings extensive social work and senior living experience to Oak Crest, previously serving as a Senior Administrator with Genesis Healthcare in 2014 after beginning her leadership career with Ivy Hall Nursing Center.

The extended care neighborhood at Oak Crest provides assisted living, long-term care and inpatient & outpatient rehabilitation services.  In the fall, the community will open a new, state-of-the-art memory care neighborhood featuring 38 private rooms and a person-centered approach to care.

A licensed Nursing Home Administrator in Maryland, Ms. Uttenreither holds a Bachelor’s of Arts degree from Roanoke College in Virginia.  She is a member of the American Health Care Association and served on the Legislative Committee of the Health Facilities Association of Maryland.

Born and raised in Towson, Mrs. Uttenreither resides in Federal Hill with her husband and two step-children.  She attended Notre Dame Preparatory School, where as a student in 1991, she helped establish a sister-city partnership with Ignacio Ellacuria School in El Salvador that is still active.
