RUN with us to Raise Money to Fight ALS
The Janayitri Foundation - founded by Pushyami Duvvuri on 21 September 2016, is a non-profit charitable organization incorporated in Maryland having no affiliations with any Government, Political and Religious entities - today announced that registration is now open for the Janayitri 5K Run for a Cause (J5K). The J5k, which will take place on Saturday, October 7th in Ellicott City, MD, will support individuals living with Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS) and their families.
The race will take place at 9:00 AM in Columbia Gateway Park (8621 Robert Fulton Rd) and the first three winners in both the adult and child categories are eligible for cash prizes.
Proceeds from the J5K will benefit the Brigance Brigade Foundation, an ALS support organization committed to equipping, encouraging and empowering people living with ALS and their families through support services, equipment donations and resource guidance. The Foundation was created by O.J. and Chanda Brigance; Brigance is a former CFL and NFL Championship player who is currently in his 10th year of battling ALS.
