Maryland LGBT Chamber of Commerce and Johns Hopkins Carey School of Business LGBT Club Present “Out for Business”

The Maryland LGBT Chamber of Commerce will launch Johns Hopkins Carey Business School’s LGBT Club Diversity@Work Series with “Out for Business.” This Speaker Series will focus on LGBTQ Professionals and their experiences navigating the workplace.This is the inaugural event for the School's LGBT Club and is free to all.

The Panelists will include MDLGBT Chamber of Commerce President, Betsy Cerulo; FreeState Justice Attorney, Laura DePalma; MedStar Harbor Hospital VP Operations, Jill Johnson; and the Baltimore Transgender Alliance Executive Director, Ava Pipitone.

The Maryland LGBT Chamber of Commerce offers networking opportunities, business development efforts within the LGBT community, and educational programming to its members. "This event is one of many now scheduled by the Chamber that will empower and promote LGBT professionals and business owners in the Maryland marketplace," says Betsy Cerulo of the Maryland LGBT Chamber of Commerce. “If all our diverse businesses and business groups win, ultimately, Maryland wins."

The panel talk is free to all and will take place from 3:30–5:00 pm on Friday, September 15th at Johns Hopkins Carey Business School in Baltimore's Harbor East and will be followed by a networking Happy Hour from 5:00 – 7:00 PM at James Joyce Pub.
