Terps Baseball Coach, Texas Native, Rob Vaughn Pitches In To Help With Harvey Relief

University of Maryland head baseball coach Rob Vaughn, a Texas native, could only watch the Hurricane Harvey devastation from afar, but he knew he had to help.

So in response to a call from the head men's basketball coach at the University of Houston, Kelvin Sampson, asking for athletic programs to help by sending clothes and shoes, Vaughn collected what he could.

"We realize it pales in comparison to the people who brought their boats out there and are picking up people who are stuck in their houses, but that's a little something that we can do to try and help people out down there," Vaughn said in an interview on Glenn Clark Radio Aug. 31.
