NEA Joins $3.2M Seed Funding for SafeTrek


St. Louis-based SafeTrek, developer of an app focused on providing personal safety, announced it has raised $3.2 million in seed funding. Cultivation Capital led the round, which included participation from New Enterprise Associates, Maveron and Aspect Ventures. a 100% women-founded venture firm. Cultivation Capital said it previously led a convertible note round in SafeTrek in March 2016. The company was co-founded in 2013 by Zach Winkler, Aaron Kunnemann, Brittany Dameron and Nick Droege.
