The Baltimore Orioles are out to show the American League they are still a contender.
Catching the Seattle Mariners on the back end of a grueling 12-game road trip, the Orioles came from behind to record an 8-7 win before 16,983 at Oriole Park on Aug. 30. It was their seventh straight win, a season-high.
The game had many heroes.
Catcher Welington Castillo's four hits equaled a season-high. Second baseman Jonathan Schoop drove in two runs, including the go-ahead run in the bottom of the eighth, and has 99 RBIs with 29 games to play.
