Orioles Get Back Above .500 With 7-6 Win Against Seattle

The Baltimore Orioles haven't had a winning record since June 11, but they do now.

A five-game winning streak, including a 7-6 win against the Seattle Mariners before 15,106 at Oriole Park Aug. 28, has put the Orioles at 66-65. They're 1.5 games behind in the wild-card chase.

"I think it's pretty obvious that if you're .500 or below you're not going to the playoffs," manager Buck Showalter said.

First baseman Chris Davis' seventh-inning double broke a 6-6 tie.
