Benfield Electric, a Maryland-based, family-owned and operated electrical contractor, is pleased to announce Katie Weber has joined the company as its new business development specialist.

In her new role, Weber will raise awareness for Benfield Electric’s commercial, residential and home electrical services through planning, developing and managing business development and marketing efforts.

Weber brings more than 10 years of experience in relationship-building to Benfield Electric. She holds a bachelor’s degree in interpersonal communications, communications and marketing from Salisbury University.

Prior to joining Benfield Electric, Weber served as the communications manager for the American Cancer Society, Inc. in Baltimore, where she worked in event planning, fundraising and volunteer management. She also held additional positions within the American Cancer Society, Inc. as an event development manager and community manager. Weber is a member of the Lamda Pi Eta Communications Honor Society.
