Fantasy Baseball Risers, Fallers: Aug. 14, 2017

The year of the injuries continued throughout the weekend and involved one of the most important fantasy players. Washington Nationals right fielder Bryce Harper will be out three-to-four weeks after suffering a deep bone bruise in his left knee Aug. 12.

The team is confident he will return at some point this season, but that doesn't help fantasy owners, as that could mean the final couple weeks of the season. Fantasy owners need to prepare to replace Harper's production for the remainder of the year.

As was the case when Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim outfielder Mike Trout went down with an injury, this is a huge blow that will be extremely tough to overcome. Trout, returned with enough time to still make an impact, but that will not be the case for Harper.
