Baltimore Magazine Appoints Deborah Best and Michelle Kemp

Baltimore magazine is pleased to announce two new additions to the organization. Michelle Kemp, previously a media sales consultant at the Baltimore Sun Media Group, has been named integrated advertising executive, and Deborah Best, previously the administrative coordinator for Arts on Stage, has been named advertising coordinator.

Kemp joins Baltimore magazine from the Baltimore Sun Media Group where she was in charge of selling advertising campaigns to local advertisers. While there, she surpassed her sales quotas multiple times, and was named the number one sales representative in August 2016. In her new role with Baltimoremagazine, Kemp will work alongside the advertising sales team to grow new businesses across the print, digital and event sponsorship channels within the flagship magazine and Baltimore Bride. Kemp is a cum laude graduate of York College of Pennsylvania where she earned her Bachelor of Arts in Public Relations.

While at Arts on Stage, Best directly assisted the executive director and was responsible for significant administrative functions as well as managing the organization’s social media pages. In her new role with the magazine, Best is responsible for the creation and delivery of advertising materials. She holds an associate of arts degree from the Community College of Baltimore County.
