The Orioles are expecting to add Rule 5 outfielder Anthony Santander to their roster on Aug. 17 when he completes a 20-day rehab assignment.
Santander, whose major league debut has been delayed by a strained right forearm, was batting .370 with 4 home runs and 13 RBIs in 14 games for Double-A Bowie coming into play Aug. 13.
Even though Aug. 17 is an off-day, the Orioles have to add Satander to their roster with 48 hours of the end of his rehab assignment, which is scheduled for Aug. 15.
