Almost exactly a month after Park Café and Coffee Bar supposedly shut its doors for good, the Bolton Hill business reopened today under new ownership.
When former owner David Hart announced he’d be closing his coffee shop at 132 McMechen Street on July 7, he said he was looking for “an interested party to continue what we started.”
Former Park Café employee Elsa Valdes saw an opportunity. She and her brother, George Gonzalez, arranged to buy the store from Hart.
