Ripken Baseball today announced Amanda Shank, former Senior Manager of Licensing and Business Development for the NFL Players Association (NFLPA), as its Director of Strategic Partnerships. In her new position with Ripken Baseball, Shank will cultivate partnerships across all amateur properties, including tournaments, camps, clinics and content channels.

Shank will play a crucial role in the company’s future growth as one of the preeminent brands in youth baseball and softball. Utilizing her past experience managing sponsors and licensees, she will work to create strategic, high-value and high-revenue relationships for Ripken Baseball by leveraging a range of platforms and owned assets.

As Senior Manager of Licensing and Business Development for the NFLPA, Shank oversaw digital and unconventional licensing categories, yielding more than $45 million dollars in annual revenue. She also developed strategies for continued category growth and awareness of group player rights.
During her tenure with the NFLPA, Shank served on a team recognized by the International Licensing Awards as the Best Sports Program for 2016 and 2017. In addition, she also executed a cross-promotion with partners EA SPORTS and Uber which was named as a finalist by the International Licensing Awards for the 2016 Licensed Promotion of the Year.
