Monument City Brewing Co. Selected as New Venue Local Real Estate Development Projects, VIPs Will Be Recognized
The Baltimore District Council of The Urban Land Institute (ULI) is pleased to announce it will host its ninth annual WaveMaker Awards on Thursday, October 5 at Monument City Brewing Company Building at 1 North Haven Street.
For decades, ULI has recognized outstanding real estate development projects, related programs and visionaries in urban development through its global“Awards of Excellence” program. ULI Baltimore’s annual WaveMaker Awards recognizes local real estate development projects, as well as a Lifetime Achievement Award and Leadership Award winners.
A Call for Entries for the WaveMaker Awards goes out to the real estate community each year. The Jury convenes to review the submissions and selects the winners based on the following criteria: Completeness; a Sense of Place and Quality; Sustainability; Visionary and Emulation; and a Need.
The Lifetime Achievement Award is given to a recognized leader in the development community that has served more than two decades; has touched all aspects of development (acquisition, design, financing, implementation); and has touched a variety of different land uses (retail, office residential, hospitality, etc.). The 2016 Lifetime Achievement Award recipient was Stanley Fine, partner with Rosenberg Martin Greenberg, LLP.
