Peter Preisler, head of global investment services for Europe, Middle East and Africa, is leaving T. Rowe Price after over 14 years to pursue other opportunities.
He joined the group in April 2003 in his current role to head up the EMEA business and previously held a number of positions at Danske Bank International, including managing director.
Robert Higginbotham, head of global investment services at T. Rowe Price, will assume responsibility for the EMEA business as the group searches for Preisler's successor.
T. Rowe Price adds trio to UK intermediary team
Commenting on the departure, Higginbotham said: "T. Rowe Price's EMEA business has developed significantly over the past 15 years, with offices now in ten countries across the region.
"Our business is witnessing solid growth across both the institutional and intermediary channels and we are continuing to invest in our offering to meet the needs of our clients - as evidenced by the recent launch of our UK OEIC fund range.
"Following his key role in the development of our business over this period, Peter Preisler - the head of global investment services for Europe, Middle East and Africa - has decided to pursue other opportunities in the industry outside of the group.
"I would like to thank Peter for everything he has done for our clients, our associates, and our firm. He leaves with our very best wishes for the future."
