The Greene Turtle is making its way to the Route 202 corridor by taking space formerly occupied by a steakhouse chain that has departed the state.
Company spokesman Greg Pitkoff confirmed the Greene Turtle plans to open a new restaurant in Wilmington, but does not anticipate opening it for at least four months.
“We’re gutting a property that previously housed a Lone Star Steakhouse and rebuilding it with a whole new look and feel that will provide a very comfortable, inviting environment and yield yet another strong location for our brand. It’s got great potential: It is situated in the heart of the North Wilmington/202/Concord Pike area that hosts a heavy concentration of our core customer base,” Pitkoff stated.
