The Baltimore Ravens signed veteran wide receiver Griff Whalen July 21 to bolster both their wideout corps and potentially help in the return game, where they have no obvious solution.
"I'm just happy to contribute any way that I can," Whalen told Glenn Clark Radio July 24. "Whatever the coaches think is the best spot for me, that's where I'll fill in."
Whalen was the primary return man for the Indianapolis Colts in 2014 and spent time in the role for the team again in 2015. He said he'd be comfortable in a similar role for the Ravens.
