Jeremy Sieverts' South team fell to the North, 18-16, in the 12th-annual Under Armour All-America Lacrosse Game at Towson University July 1. Sieverts, who prepped at McDonogh, played for the University of Maryland from 2007-2009, finishing with 40 goals and 25 assists for 65 points and 59 ground balls. He was named to the 2008 All-ACC Academic Team, was a 2008 preseason honorable mention All-American and a member of the 2007 All-ACC Academic Team. Sieverts was drafted by the Chesapeake Bayhawks with the 44th overall pick in the 2010 Major League Lacrosse supplemental draft. He was traded to the Denver Outlaws in 2011, where he became a six-time All-Star, two-time league champion and team captain.
