For the first time since May 19-21, Orioles starters have delivered three straight quality starts, and presto, the Orioles have a three-game winning streak.
After right-handers Chris Tillman and Dylan Bundy delivered strong outings, righty Kevin Gausman allowed one run on four hits in six innings as the Orioles beat the Texas Rangers 10-2 before 15,693 at Oriole Park July 19.
The modest three-game streak simply puts the Orioles where they were at the All-Star break -- four games below .500 and on the outer extreme of the wild-card chase.
Gausman gave up a home run to Texas first baseman Joey Gallo in the fifth and allowed a double to third baseman Adrian Beltre in the fourth.
