Castanea, Maryland's Premier New Custom Home Community, Has Sold 8 Custom Home Lots Its First 3 Months


Prime Building Advantage, the real estate marketing and sales firm directing sales at the Castanea, a 230-acre exclusive new community in Lutherville, Maryland, has released its latest lot sales figures. Eight lots have been purchased in the community's first six months. 

"We expected a lot of excitement over this property," says, Charlie Hatter, Co-Owner of Prime Building Advantage. "However, even our sales team has been surprised how fast lots are moving in this type of high-end, luxury community. We attribute it to a great location and a beautiful property."

Castanea is located on the former Chestnut Ridge Country Club. The property is owned and developed by Baltimore-based Cignal Corp., developers of properties at Moorings at Canton, Graystone Farms Estates, KCI Technologies, Inc., and Franklin Square Professional Center.

Castanea offers a varied selection of home sites. The community has sold lots ranging from 2 acres to 23 acres. Prime Building Advantage is partnering with several premier builders to offer a seamless and easy custom home building experience, including notable Baltimore-based Vincent Green Architects. Vincent Green Architects is a local Maryland firm that provides custom design and build options that respect the community and environment unique to Maryland.

When complete, Castanea will be an estate home community of forty home sites, including several waterfront lots. Most lots are three-to-five acres and have been designed to offer residents privacy and panoramic daytime and evening views that preserve the natural scape of the former golf course. 

Phase I sales are still available with prices starting at $700,000.
