The Maryland Group of Long & Foster Real Estate, based in Salisbury, Maryland, ranked 101st among real estate teams nationwide based on transaction sides in 2016 on REAL Trends’ annual The Thousand list.

The Maryland Group, which has also grown its presence into Delaware, is led by Brandon Brittingham in the Delmarva region and by Douglas Gardiner in the western region of Maryland. The team heavily focuses its efforts on integrating leading technologies and marketing tools in all it does to make sure clients are equipped with all the information and assistance they need to find their next home or investment property. The group promotes its listings front and center on the web using top-notch search engines and its agents are highly trained in negotiation to help sellers receive the highest price possible and to help buyers achieve their goals.

“It’s an honor to be recognized as a leader in the REAL Trends The Thousand list for doing work that our entire team is passionate about,” said Brittingham and Gardiner. “We are proud of our national ranking and we will continue to bring our customers the unparalleled service and expert guidance they can expect from one of the top-ranking residential real estate teams in the country.”

In total, nine Long & Foster teams and two individual agents were named to the list. The Thousand list ranks the top 250 individual agents and the top 250 teams categorized by transaction sides and sales volume, and the top 50 individual agents and teams by average sale price.

“We congratulate The Maryland Group on being named to this year’s REAL Trends’ The Thousand. This honor reflects the commitment to service, professionalism and expertise that their team and our entire family of real estate experts strive to provide,” said Gary Scott, president of Long & Foster Real Estate. “It’s because of agents like these that Long & Foster is the top real estate company in the Mid-Atlantic and we’re committed to providing our sales associates with the industry-leading tools, technology and resources they need to grow their business.”

Wesley Foster, chief executive officer of The Long & Foster Companies. “I’d like to congratulate Brandon, Doug and their entire team on their sales success and top ranking in REAL Trends.”
