Fantasy Baseball Risers, Fallers: July 3, 2017

We're one week away from the MLB All-Star break, which also means we're a week away from the first time fantasy owners can take a breath and reassess where they are. We will have plenty of time to do that next week, but for now, we have to continue to grind for the final week of the first half.

During the weekend, it was announced Pittsburgh Pirates outfielder Starling Marte would begin playing minor league games as he prepares to return from his 80-game suspension July 18. Marte, 28, was suspended for testing positive for a performance-enhancing drug. To my surprise, Marte is just more than 60-percent-owned in Yahoo! Sports leagues and around 50-percent-owned in ESPN leagues. I expected it be higher. In more competitive leagues, Marte won't be available, but it's worth noting there is a chance he could be.
