Former Catonsville High School and University of Maryland pitcher Adam Kolarek has taken the long road home to playing baseball in Baltimore.

After spending more than seven years in the minor leagues, the left-handed reliever was called up June 27 to the Tampa Bay Rays, who begin a weekend series against the Orioles at Camden Yards June 30.
