Heidi Falter
Chimes International Limited and subsidiaries, known as the Chimes Family of Services, is pleased to announce that Heidi Falter, Director of Communications, has been chosen as one of Folio Magazine’s Top Women in Media for 2017 in the Rising Stars category. Falter traveled to New York City on June 7, 2017 to receive the award and participate in a celebratory luncheon.
Folio Magazine, which provides media and publishing professionals with news, insights, and best practices, established the Top Women in Media Award in 2014 to honor the top female contributors in the industry.
“We are thrilled that Folio has chosen to acknowledge Heidi and her leadership and great work at Chimes,” said Jeffrey Dubnow, Chimes International’s Vice President of Development and Communications. “She has been an invaluable member of our team, helping Chimes better tell our story and raise awareness of the work we do for people with disabilities and other challenges. We’re proud that her accomplishments are receiving the attention they deserve.”
As Director of Communications for Chimes, Falter leads efforts to promote Chimes programs and services aimed at providing education and employment for adults with developmental disabilities. She holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Graphic Communications from the University of Maryland University College, as well as Associates Degrees in Graphic Design from The Art Institute Online and the Bradley Academy for the Visual Arts.
