InfoZen Opens $2 Million Facility Dedicated to Government DevOps Excellence

6/27/17

BETHESDA, Md.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--InfoZen, a provider of systems modernization, cloud solutions and DevOps for critical national security missions with complex environments, announced the expansion of its Bethesda corporate headquarters with a new 31,000-square-foot, $2 million facility dedicated to delivering agile development and DevOps services to federal agencies.

The secure space is designed to support more than 250 DevOps and agile development specialists and features state-of-the-art conference rooms and a new training facility with extensive video conferencing capabilities for multi-location customer and employee collaboration. InfoZen’s DevOps University will accelerate the development of the talent necessary for next-generation IT and help the government across all agencies modernize and optimize their legacy systems and infrastructure.

InfoZen has experienced a 46 percent compound annual growth rate since 2015 and hired more than 120 employees over the last 12 months as government agencies have increasingly adopted DevOps methodologies to modernize aging IT infrastructures.

The company was awarded a $208 million contract award with the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) in 2016, which includes the migration of the USCIS application development methodology from a traditional waterfall process to an agile environment and DevOps framework.

“We are committed to building and growing DevOps talent both within our company and within federal agencies to help government adopt next-generation IT,” said Raj Ananthanpillai, chief executive officer, InfoZen. “This will have a dramatic impact on improving citizen services while creating efficiencies and reducing costs.”
