New Ravens cornerback Brandon Boykin sees 2017 as a clean slate.
Boykin, who signed with the team June 5 after starting slot cornerback Tavon Young tore his ACL during OTAs, was considered one of the NFL's best slot corners just a few years ago.
A fourth-round pick by the Philadelphia Eagles in 2012, Boykin had a breakout year in 2013, finishing with six interceptions and two forced fumbles. But his career got sidetracked after a trade to the Pittsburgh Steelers in 2015 resulted in limited playing time. He then suffered a torn pectoral muscle last August that caused him to miss the entire season.
