Attention Baltimore homeowners: your property tax rate will decrease by a few pennies come July 1, while your water and sewer bill will jump nearly 10%.

Mayor Catherine Pugh has decided to follow in the footsteps of her predecessor and authorize a Targeted Homeowners Tax Credit in fiscal 2018 that will cut the property tax rate to $2.032. The Board of Estimates is set to approve the new rate at its weekly meeting this morning
