Keswick’s Lauretta Byers Named to Maryland Association of Adult Day Services Board

Keswick, a community and campus-based health resource in Baltimore, today announced its Director of Adult Day Services, Lauretta Byers, was appointed to the Maryland Association of Adult Day Services (MAADS) Board of Directors.

“Lauretta is an experienced, knowledgeable and warm member of our team,” said Keswick’s CEO Carmel Roques. “Her leadership and expertise in adult day services for older adults will make her a great asset to the MAADS Board.”

The Maryland Association of Adult Day Services is the primary representative for medical day service providers within the State of Maryland. MAADS provides information and education to its members who provide services and programs to over 5500 of Maryland’s elderly, handicapped and adults with disabilities and their families and support groups.

Byers has more than 19 years of experience in medical adult day services and rehabilitation. As the Director of Adult Day Services at Keswick, she is responsible for overseeing the programming that helps older adults who wish to safely remain in the community receive the care and attention they need. Keswick’s Adult Day Services offer transportation, socialization, nutritious meals, medical care and meaningful activities at an all-inclusive, affordable price.
