Fantasy Baseball Risers, Fallers: June 19, 2017

In March, one of the draft strategies we discussed was the lack of stolen bases and the explosion of home runs last year and how fantasy owners needed to adjust accordingly in 2017. Through the first two-and-a-half months of the season, there are close to 50 hitters on pace to hit 30 home runs. Meanwhile, if a player has at least 10 stolen bases, they are ranked in the top 20 in the majors.

If fantasy owners feel they have enough power, well, everyone else in your league does, too. If you are struggling in power, it will be difficult to overcome that deficiency. On the flip side, you can still make up stolen bases, but you have to target the right players.
