Goodbye Colette, hello Bottega.

Adrien Aeschliman, owner of the recently closed Colette bistro, announced that the space at 1709 N. Charles Street will be reopening today as the home of a second restaurant he controls.

“New chapter starting … at 5 p.m.,” the owner wrote in a post on Facebook. “Bottega has moved into what used to be Colette. BYOB! We will add booze within the month, but even so encourage you to byob. Slightly larger menu, same faces, walk ins welcome.”

Bottega, an Italian restaurant, was located a block away from Colette at 1729 Maryland Avenue. Colette had a spot in the Chesapeake Building, next to the Charles Theater and near the restored Parkway Theatre.
