Three sets of parishes in the Archdiocese of Baltimore will be merged effective July 1 under a plan announced by Archbishop William Lori.
Since the parishes have already been working together for years, the mergers are designed to promote efficiency and make administration easier within the Archdiocese without adversely changing the way the churches operate.
