Kenneth Marshall
Kenneth (K.R.) Marshall is named a vice president and senior transportation technical manager for WSP USA, formerly WSP | Parsons Brinckerhoff, a leading engineering and professional services organization.
Based out of WSP’s Baltimore office, Mr. Marshall will serve as the northeast regional manager for intelligent transportation systems (ITS) and transportation technology.
Mr. Marshall has over 35 years of experience in traffic engineering, traffic operations, ITS, transportation infrastructure design, transportation planning, and telecommunications. His areas of expertise include ITS planning and design; transportation systems management and operations; integrated corridor management; telecommunications planning and design; traffic signal system design; highway and street design and operations; thoroughfare planning and analyses; highway corridor alternatives studies; parking studies; and traffic safety studies. Prior to joining WSP, Mr. Marshall was a vice president and local operations manager for a large international engineering consultant.
A licensed professional engineer in Missouri, Kansas, Maryland, North Carolina, Virginia, New Jersey, New York, Florida, District of Columbia, West Virginia and Illinois, Mr. Marshall received a master of engineering degree in transportation engineering from Texas A&M University, and a B.S. in civil engineering from Union College. He is a fellow with the Institute of Transportation Engineers and an active participant of ITS America and many of its state chapters.
