At the end of the school year, some dedicated students just aren’t ready to put down their books. Gilman School rising junior Kofi Whitehead is one of them. He will spend six weeks studying at Cornell University this summer.
Kofi has been selected to participate in the 2017 Telluride Association Sophomore Seminar (TASS). With an acceptance rate of 13%, he was one of only 56 students selected from around the country for the rigorous program, which includes a daily three-hour seminar, a public speaking program, lectures from guest professors, writing workshops, field trips and frequent cultural activities.
