At one point during the Ravens' OTA workout open to the media May 25, receiver Breshad Perriman made a nice double move to get a step on backup cornerback Sheldon Price, and quarterback Joe Flacco lofted a pass Perriman caught in stride for a touchdown. He also beat starting cornerback Jimmy Smith one-on-one with an aggressive move along the sideline to make a catch.
Perriman has made several such plays in this first week of OTA workouts, an encouraging sign for the former first-round pick whom the Ravens need to develop into a centerpiece of their offense this season.
"You look at Breshad and nobody, I think, is having a better camp than him so far," tight end Dennis Pitta said. "He's making big plays everywhere, catching everything thrown his way."
