It was another injury-filled weekend in fantasy baseball, with New York Yankees closer Aroldis Chapman the biggest name involved. The hard-throwing left-hander will be sidelined for at least a month due to inflammation in his throwing shoulder.
Other injuries that occurred without knowing the severity included: Arizona Diamondbacks outfielders A.J. Pollock and David Peralta, Texas Rangers outfielder Carlos Gomez, Milwaukee Brewers infielder Travis Shaw and Boston Red Sox starting pitcher Drew Pomeranz.
All fantasy owners can do is continue to hit the waiver wire, offer some trades and hope their bad fortune turns around.
