When general manager Ozzie Newsome was asked at the "State of the Ravens" end-of-season news conference to address the team's most pressing needs heading into 2017, he identified three areas of concern:
"We need to add some depth in the secondary; we need to improve in the offensive line; we need to find a complementary receiver," Newsome said in January. "I think those are the areas that we feel like we should attack this offseason -- whether it's through free agency, the drafts, trades -- whatever way we have to do it."
With the draft and the bulk of free agency now past, and with the team's organized team activities beginning May 22, let's look more closely at what has happened to date, and what might still occur:
