Offense Struggles Continue As Orioles Lose Third Straight One-Run Game

Kauffman Stadium has turned into a house of horrors for the Orioles. Dating back to May 17, 2014, the Orioles have dropped nine of their last 11 games here.

Brandon Moss, who homered off Dylan Bundy May 12, hit a line drive home run leading off the sixth inning, lifting the Kansas City Royals to a 4-3 win over the Orioles before 24,662.

For the first time this season, the Orioles have lost three straight games. Each loss has been by one run.

Kansas City right-handed starter Nate Karns struck out 12 Orioles in five innings, and after first baseman Chris Davis hit his fifth home run of the year leading off the sixth, the Orioles were hitless.
