New York Mets starting pitcher Matt Harvey was suspended for three days without pay for violating team rules over the weekend, and it's just another blemish on the once talented pitcher. The right-hander has a 5.14 ERA and 1.29 WHIP this year after struggling big time in 2016 before having his season cut short due to injury.
At this point, fantasy owners are holding on to Harvey due to his name and not the production. In 10- and 12-team leagues, I'm fine moving on from the 28-year-old and looking for help elsewhere. One of the first things we learn in fantasy is to divorce the name from the numbers, and right now, the name Harvey is more relevant than the actual production.
